Seoul - 8 sceneries of Bukchon (Bukchon Hanok Village)

Bukchon is wedged between Gyeongbok Palace and Changdeok Palace
in the north of Seoul, and its captivating views over the curved tiled roofs of the traditional Korean houses (hanok) and the pretty patterned stone walls lining the narrow streets with modern towers and buildings attract people to come..

There are 8 Photo spots where you can take the best pictures of the most beautiful 8 sceneries of Bukchon..

**Directions
Anguk Station (Line 3), Exit 2.
Go straight for about 300m to arrive at Bukchon Hanok Village

There's a Tourist Information Center where you can get a map of Bukchon

Buckhon's Eight Views : The 8 most characteristic views of Bukchon are called Bukchonpalgyeong.
Look for the suggested viewpoint marked with a metal plate reading 'PHOTO SPOT' planted in the pavement.

1st View: Changdeok Palace View - D4

At the high end of the sloped Bukchon-ro, heading from the Bukchon Traditional Center, a striking panoramic view of Changdeokgung beyong the gracefully patterned stone wall catched the eye of visitors.

2nd View: Wonseo-dong Arts & Crafts Alleyway - B4

A walk along Changdeokgung Doldam-gil, a street following the royal palace's stone wall, leads to dead-end valley where the legacy of the Joseon artisans and craftmen who served the royal family continues to this day.

<Every place you go in Bukchon Hanok Village looks idyllic>

3rd View: Gahoe-dong Museum Lane

Hanok residences in 11 Gahoe-dong open their doors to visitors to reveal their interiors. In some places, experiential programs of tradional Korean culture are offered.

<As you look around the place you can also see Bukak Mountain>

4th View: Gahoe-dong Alley (Old & New) - C2

A sea of tiled roofs in 31 Gahoe-dong is captured in a single view frame. The Western-style residence sitting at the top of the hill is Yi Jungu's House built in 1938, a typicalnhome of the wealthy during the Japanese colonial period.

When you look around the Bukchon Hanok village please don't make a lot of noise because it's a residential area..

5th View: Gahoe-dong Alley (Harmony) - C2

The most authentic cluster of hanok can be found here. Most of these traditional houses are in excellent shape thanks to the city government's renovation incentives.

6th View: Gahoe-dong Alley - B2

The view of downtown Seoul revealed above the elegant hanok rooflines is regarded as the highpoint of a walk through Bukchon.

7th View: 31 Gahoe-dong - B2

This is an unpretentious, serene and infectiously peaceful alleyway. Cathing a glimpse of the residents' day-to-day life is also an interesting experience.

8th View: Samcheong-dong Stair-Rock - B2

The unsophisticated but romantic stone stairway linking Hwagae 1-gil and Samcheongdong-gil is carved out of a huge rock bed.

Friends Trip : 9D8N in Seoul & Jeju Island, South Korea

Hello... :)

I ni dah lama planning nak pergi ke Korea gara-gara tengok drama & movie Korea..1st filem-My Sassy Girl & drama-The Successful Story of Bright Girl yg telah buat aku jatuh cinta dgn Korea ni..I ni category obses and addicted jugak la dengan drama-drama Korea ni..

Waktu zaman kolej dulu..I sanggup mengopek pintu bilik tv semata-mata nak tengok cerita Winter Sonata..I pinjam cd dari kawan..so tak cabar sangat nak tahu ending cerita tu macamana..dah la esok ada final..yes! memang I agak meroyan..end up nya..my pointer dari 3.50 drop ke 2.30..waaa..habis lah I kena bakoor dengan mak ayah I..xpe..xpe..I pandai bab-bab menyorokkan keputusan exam ni... (padahal kantoi..siap ayah suh berhenti belajar..pastu kerja jaga lembu kat ladang..hahaa..memang tak r..nak jaga lembu..)

Tips: untuk situasi begini...jangan cuba sekali anda melawan or nak back up diri ke apa..diam and angukkan kepala anda sahaja..ok..hee~

Kami start beli tiket flight Air Asia on 19 Sept 2012 utk penerbangan pd 15 May 2013 for 7 days..ni pun pukul 4 pagi beli..nekad tuh..dah credit card tak lepas sebab baru lepas shopping pinggan mangkuk kat Langkawi time tuh..pastu nasib baik la I punya kawan..punya kawan baik hati bagi guna..sebab dia nak points nya pasal..hehehehe..

Sebulan before fly, kami just senaraikan tempat2 yang kami nak pergi dan kami bahagikan tugas;
Aku - uruskan penempatan & budget
Yana - makanan & sediakan itenary di seoul
Aiin & Mia - Jeju itenary

Itenary kami sangat-sangat pack. Memang padat dan meletihkan tapi berbaloi lagi puas..hahaha

Selepas dah selesai itenary...kami sediakan paper budget..search semua harga-harga tiket kat tempat yang kami nak pegi tu..

>> budget

Kami setuju tak nak stick kat satu guesthouse je. Kami pilih guesthouse berdekatan kat
tempat yg kami nak jalan-jalan ni...tak de lah buang masa sangat..tapi leceh nak packing & heret luggage ke next GH..

Bagi pendapat i la..kalau nak pegi travel ke Korea..better pergi sendiri-sendiri je..lagi mencabar & enjoy dari ambik package travel agency...sekadar orang lain yang sediakan semuanya untuk kita..memang nampak mudah..just bayar je..then follow je apa yang mereka dah plan untuk kita under mereka nya pack..tak mencabar sangatlah..!!

Why not..you all study sikit before pergi and then rasai sendiri..memang puas giler..lagi pun Korea negara maju..very friendly for tourists..brochures & maps ada merata-rata..very easy nak pergi mana-mana..trust me..!!

Lagi pun boleh je nak mintak pertolongan dari guesthouse kita untuk tolong booking kan apa-apa event yang korang nak pergi. They all ni very helpful & friendly.

Before we fly..\^o^/
